Grappa – Local Product

Separate distillation of the marc of individual grape varieties produces single variety grappa or grappa di monovitigno. Grappas with an intense beguiling aroma are produced from aromatic grapes like Moscato giallo while a more delicate grappa is obtained from the marc of Nosiola, Schiava, Teroldego,Marzemino and other grapes.

There is a wide selection of grappas flavoured with herbs, berries and dried roots, which can be sweet or have a delicate bitterness.

The classic ones are grappa with rue, gentian, juniper or asperula. There are also tonic and fortifying liqueurs made by macerating fruit of the forest
such as blueberries, raspberries and wild strawberries in grappa. And last but not least, spirits which capture the delicate flavours of the plums of
Dro, apricots, pears or other fruits.
